Unequal growth rate in the population of India is widely clear. On one side is the country with the most billionaires in the world where as on the other side a large portion of population is struggling to achieve basic necessities in the life.
Many people have set up various NGO, to help various segments of people in the country with all basic amenities and good healthcare and education facility. But major naxalite affected area near the borderlines of East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Chattisgarh is the one still not touched by many of such organisations. The region is inhabited by vanvasis who comprise 10% of total population. Lack of awareness and resources, and very less influence of government in the region has forced them to live an unstable lifestyle due to which they get attracted towards crimes and become very easy target of naxalite ideology. This very reason has dampened the spirit of many people to come here and help these people to come in major streamline.
In spite of this, these tribal people there are very disciplined and modest and if helped in right way would appreciate the importance of life and India. Such very innocent people of our country have a right to move ahead and we as a part of the same society need to assure that they do. Many people contribute to such a cause with money but a human touch always has a deeper impact then the ever evil money. Actually, we need to go to these backward places and feel the toughness of life people are facing when we find our luxurious life in cities complicated. The need to unite our team members who are left behind is ever important in this shining and growing India. Such organizations have to be established that give support to the forest dwellers by giving them education and training.
I was very happy to see one such organization active in this area with the name Sewa Samarpan Sansthan. I came to know about this during my stay at NTPC Rihand. The level of excitement was so high when I heard about the organisation that I couldn’t stop my self from visiting one of their branches at Sewakunj Ashram located at Chapki, Sonebadra district, Uttar Pradesh. It is around 30 kilometres from NTPC Rihand. Spread on 20 acre of land, it is a place of enlightenment of children from 14 different tribal communities. Here, they are provided educational, health and development facilities and are made self-dependent. At present, 65 tribal children live here and learn all those things that we could never learn in our times. They actually know what the person titled ‘guru’ means. They know that they are learning not for themselves but for the place where they have born. If one asks them their aim in life, they would also like to become doctors, engineers, teachers like any of us but this will be again for their place which gave them birth with a special task to be accomplished. This place is the family, whose responsibility of evolution lies on their shoulders; the place is their village, where people are living decades behind the city dwellers. The place is their country, India, which needs to stand united and spring up as the strongest nation of the world.
By having a fixed schedule from four in the morning till ten at night, they understand the significance of every minute. No one takes a leave from the assigned task. They even have rotational duty for making food for all which includes one whole day meal to be prepared by student of class two and three every week. Thus, we can say the efforts of ashram have made them take a step towards civilized society.
Now, its our duty to further uplift these poor children. They have no demands and no self bounded desires. They just want someone to channelize their life to fulfil their small dreams that can together attain the big target of nation building. They need guidance to be at par with rest of the world. Highly professional trainers are not required for them. Rather, every individual coming to meet them is taken as the divine messenger who will teach them another important aspect of life.
So, let us come together and contribute generously in form of money, time and further spreading the message. Our small effort can bring big smile on their faces. Lets stand up and support those who want to stand for the motherland, for the India.!Now, its our duty to further uplift these poor children. They have no demands and no self bounded desires.
